お祝いムード / celebration

エリザベス女王の戴冠60年記念のお祝いで、街中にユニオンジャックがひるがえっています。ショップのディスプレイにも国旗がはたはたと。ちょっと食傷気味ではありますが、中にはセンス良い飾り付けもあって、そういうのを見つけると嬉しい。赤、青、白の三色の紙でブーケを作って飾っただけなのだけど、古い手押し車との組み合わせが素敵で、なぜかイギリスぽい。

Golden Jubilee decoration is found everywhere in town.  A little sick of seeing all of those flags fluttering… but some of the shop windows make me smile.  This one is subtle and nice – just three coloured paper flower, but choice of what they are on is rustic and nice.
